Seal of Oblates of Mary Immaculate on title page. Hymns (p. 106-326) consist of words only, with tunes indicated, with the exception of 2 hymns (p. 305-307) for which music is provided. Black and white religious illustrations, and imagery throughout; music. Comprises of a syllabary, title page and text in Cree; includes some text and headings in English, French, and Latin. Seal of Oblates of Mary Immaculate on the title page. We note that the Hymns (pgs. 106-326) consist of words only, with tunes indicated, with the exception of 2 hymns (p. 305-307) for which music is provided. Slight bow to to the front board, two very faint, small stamps to the upper right margins of the ffep otherwise, contents remain bright, clean, and unmarked with tight, sound binding; near fine. Exceedingly scare in commerce. We note the presence of only four known institutional holdings. Corresponds to WorldCat #465964849. See Peel #7317. We also note one edition preceding this volume, published in 1952, and printed entirely in Syllabic characters.
