Larger, sturdy book, light blue cloth, purple lettering very fine on spine, a floor plan for monastery insde front cover and adjacent end papers, map of Chesire inside back cover and adjacent end paper, 234 pages, glossy photographs throughout. DJ glossy orange background, an illustration of monks and scribe in circle on front, black background to title and author, praise for "Chester Cathedral" on back from the Times Literary Supplement, Liverpool Daily Post and others. DJ chipped with slight wear to tips and top edges. Fair DJ/Good book.
