Condition: Sehr gut. Large format softcover binding, ca 110 pages, numerous illustrations, some colour plates, neat private label on the spine with the title of the book, very good condition. According to the foreword all objects in this collection were purchased in Peking shortly after the 1912 Chinese revolution. Quite a few o…f the objects will actually have been made in China in the style of Tibet, but several also came from Tibet. Quite interesting, i.a. one of the original thankas of a set of 3, showing the 300 icons as compiled by Chang-skya Hutuktu at the court of the Qianlong emperor. These thangkas are said to be the basis of the text and xylographs. Uncommon. Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 550.
