Saddle-stapled in French-wraps, with die-cut square to front cover. Fine. Signed, dated, and inscribed by Burtner to title-page. A systematic artist's book consisting entirely of reproductions of excised book page corners featuring the number 13, with a unique example of such mounted to title page. Also laid in are the following: is a folded sheet advertising the book's publication event at Pearl Gallery in Richmond; a price list for works available at same; and a related two-page newspaper clipping. Burtner's inscription is to Richmond-based artist Henrietta Jane Near (b. 1929), whose papers are held, together with her late husband's, at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Inscribed by Author(s).
