Representing the "complete & authoritative versions of Sigmund Freud's important but heretofore unavailable texts" about cocaine & his experiences with the drug. With new Notes provided by Freud's daughter, Anna, original to this edition. In 368 pages, some illustrations, this is the FIRST EDITION, First Printing, from 1974. Hardcover book has soft gray cloth-covered boards lettered in bright gilt to front & spine. Condition is Near Fine: exceptionally clean & bright, binding strong & straight, pages creamy white & unmarked (save for a small number stamp inside front cover & a faint stain to upper-outer fore edge side of text block). Corners crisp, mild fading to upper edges & slight dust dulling to top exterior text block. The unclipped DJ is also Near Fine, with a nearly invisible chip to lower edge of front cover; nicely protected in new clear mylar cover.
