Lower corners bumped and rubbed, exposing small bits of gray (top tips of cover corners with teeny tips of gray) and with small wrinkles (Lower corners still essentially square); 8 pp of 918 have small amount of light yellow highlighting, one page of which had a small dog ear (Now flat); Dark green dustwrapper not price-clipped (NO price) with Title lettering in light blue andd large beige letters for ' PHILO ';,Translator and Foreword Author names lettering in beige at lower right front cover; large color Photo-Illustration on middle front cover of a "Gold Glass" object with depictions of menorahs and other "items of Jewish Ritual significance". 1/4" rubbing wear across foot of spine and for more than an inch along each cover lower edge; wear at top spine corners with a 3/4" tear down middle top spine edge with some 3" of thin horizontal creases along top edge front cover left; 1/4" tear at top rear edge 2" to right of top left corner; light rubbing wear down cover edges: flaws now backed with Archival tape. Book itself shows no wear except at locations of dw wear cited, but remains a solid copy: Tight binding (NO cracks); corners essentially square, despite small rubbing wear (where dw is worn and no longer protected book); NO remainder marks; NO previous owner names; but for 8 pp. cited, Clean text. Still excellent condition for a Classic 40 years-old. Solid copy. (A thick, heavy book that will probably require extra postage, to be determined at time of ordering, and will not fit the Standard USPS Domestic or International Priority mailing envelope.).

Foreword and keying by David M. Schuler. Also included are the Foreword to the original Yonge edition, two appendices of translations of texts not used by Yonge, a subject index, an index of Scriptures cited, and maps.
