(8335) Bellissima monografia, riccamente illustrata ed elegantemente impressa su carta a mano, che ricostruisce due secoli di storia del celebre Teatro di Tordinona o Teatro Apollo, inaugurato a Roma nel 1671 e demolito nel 1889 per la sistemazione degli argini del Tevere stabilita dal Piano regolatore del 1873, e sostituito dal Teatro Argentina. Esso fu più volte ristrutturato e ricostruito (dal Fontana e dal Giorgi), anche a seguito dell'incendio del 1781, per poi divenire dopo la metà dell'800 il "tempio della gloria di Giuseppe Verdi". Il Cametti ricostruisce sia la storia fisica del teatro (disegni, descrizioni, progetti architettonici), sia la storia musicale con la cronistoria di tutte le rappresentazioni nell'arco di due secoli: libretti, spartiti, autori, interpreti, scenografi, pubblico. "Abbiamo qui insomma una vera storia del teatro musicale italiano di due secoli, fatta da un competente" (dalla prefazione).
