    Pas de couverture. Condition: Bon. 1806. Magnifique et grande aquarelle représentant le trois-mâts Alfred of Salem sortant du Vieux-Port de Marseille. Elle avait été construite en 1805 à Salem, Massachusetts, et portait seize canons pour un équipage de cent hommes. Son capitaine était Joseph Felt. Le navire fut capturé par les britanniques en 1814. Nicolas Cammillieri (vers 1773-1860) était un peintre de marine maltais actif de la fin du XVIIIe siècle aux années 1850. Une version de cette aquarelle presque identique fut vendue chez Bonhams Skinner à Boston en 2009 (American Furniture & Decorative Arts - 2444, 15 février 2009, lot n°130). Dorothy E.R. Brewington.
