(11351) Raccolta dell'opera completa del celebre teologo e predicatore domenicano Melchior Cano (1509-1560), per breve periodo vescovo delle Canarie, professore a Valladolid e a Salamanca, che fu tra i partecipanti al Concilio di Trento. La sua opera più nota è il De Locis Theologicis, qui posta in primo piano. In apertura del volume sta il testo di Nicolaus Antonius Hispalensis, Vindicationes Melchioris Cani, quibus. accusationes repelluntur; Melchior Cano entrò in alcune controversie con il padre B. Carranza, che lo avversò, e con la Compagnia di Gesù; la riscoperta nel secolo XVIII della sua opera si sviluppò soprattutto in quel clima che nella prima metà del XVIII secolo portò poi alla soppressione della Compagnia di Gesù.
