Front board scuffed near foot with a bump to the lower edge and bumps to both front and rear lower corners. Inch wide strip of fading to fore-edge of front board with an inch wide strip of fading to fore-edge of rear board and a half inch wide strip of fading across top of rear board. End-papers toned around edges and along gutters. Seven illustrations tipped in, one with photos of author and illustrator and six by McClure Capps. Inscribed and signed by Hollywood Art Director Capps to head of front paste-down and otherwise unmarked. Binding firm. Inscribed by Illustrator(s).
