Published in 1937 it takes the company history to 1935. Each aircraft is described, together with reproductions of original plans, sketches and photographs of both the aircraft and in many cases key components and assemblies. The book starts with early biplanes such as the Biplano Ca 1 and then monoplanes, includin the trimotors of the First World War. The illustrations, both in terms of detail and quality are oustanding and for the Ca 36S ( a conversion for strecher cases) cutaway drawings show the unique design configuration. Engine undercarriage, and gun mountings for the Ca 4 for example show the finest detail and appear to have been specially produced for this book. The Caproni 60 is particularly noteworthy, this vast seaplane has exceptionally detailed, drawings, some of which are cut-away, together with very clear images. Layout details photos and data continue up to the Ca 133 and 133S a twin engined bomber with seaplane variants and maintain the highest standard of drawing and illustration. 365pp, numerous ills., drawings, sketches etc. Italian text. Large format in origional hessian binding with embossed aeronautical images in each corner of the front board. A few minor blemishes, else very nice example in original slipcase (some wear) A very rare original reference particulary in this excellent condition. . Above average weight.
