"Griffin Marching to Join", protected by tissue guard. Maroon cloth cover with imitation Morroco leather texture. Blind stamped double Line border on front & back. Gilt Lettering with a little decoration on spine. Yellow endpapers. 373 pages, 590g, 7 3/4" Tall. From the Library of Field-Marshal Sir William Birdwood, his label is on the Endpaper. Initials A.M.K. written above. Pencile mnote or rear endpaper. No other inscriptions. A little patchy loss of colour to cover. Some insect damage in bottom right corner which has made a hole in the ffep, half-title, frontis, title & Dedicatory pages ( not touching the text or the drawing on the frontis ). Also on ther preface which removes about 6 letters. Some pages still uncut at the top, so the book is probably at least partly unread. 1 page has a closed tear across it and 2 have a piece torn from upper margin. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" Tall.
