Pamphlet. Condition: Good. Pamphlet, lacking any wrappers issued. Disbound from a larger work. 70 pp. A report from a US naval expedition to the Chiriqui Province in what is now Panama, providing firsthand descriptions of the land, minerals and other aspects of the region, presumably with an eye to expand US companies' footholds in the area. Mention of coal and the Chiriqui Improvement company is made, as well as harbor surveys. GOOD condition. Minor toning. Remains of binding along the spine.
