Hardcover. Condition: Good. Rare 1870 copy of General Examination of the Mediterranean Sea, A Summery of its Winds, Currents, and Navigation. The book is overall in good condition with some signs of wear and age. It is illustrated with 2 black and white plates at the back of the book. There is some damage to the top edge of the front board with some wear to the extremities of the spine and some areas of sunning. There is a large period stamp to the title page. The interior is lightly toned from age and is fairly clean with the just the very occasional minor bit of foxing/soiling. Along with that there might be the very occasional page with some kind of other small imperfection like a creased page corner, tiny tear or chip, minor interior crack, etc.
