Internally end pages with some age toning/ foxing and a previous owners gilt inscription inked to 1st free endpage and a bookseller ticket to bottom edge of inside front board. Otherwise, aside from some foxing to 2 folding plans, a good, solid clean copy. The binding is tight and hinges intact.

The front free end-paper has the signature of Keith Simpson M.P dated 1980 when he was the nSenior Lecturer in War Studies and International Affairs at R.M.A. Sandhurst. This book from his private library. A very good copy with an interesting association. Photographs etc. (illustrator).
