This copy is in fine condition with the blue cloth covers - - with beautiful stamped front panel fairy pictorial with design and black-and-red coloration - - together with black spine lettering - - all beautiful and virtually ?as new.? The interior text is in again virtually ?as new? condition with no damage or markings to be seen. The book text presents a multitude of short stories from both European and American authors accompanied by very nice period art work by Eugene M. Wireman with full-page, half-page, and smaller vignette artwork both in color and black-and-white. A nice example of this vintage ?Learning to Read? books from this era. 222 pages.
