This copy is number 488 of only 500 printed and is signed by Edward Carpenter, Dean of Westminster. Beautifully bound in full red leather with gilt decoration and titles. Housed in the original red slipcase. Includes an interesting presentation inscription relating to David McNee, Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, dated May 24th 1977. Condition: Very good overall with light wear to slipcase. Binding bright and sound. A handsome and scarce commemorative edition with strong Westminster Abbey provenance.
