Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Copyright 1966 Vanguard Publications. It's hard to find a bargain row paperback of this vintage that I'd grade as VG+, but this it it, with an unbroken spine and bright colors on the nurse fetish cover. Naturally, being of a certain age, the paper is slightly yellowing and the inside covers are…slightly foxed, and there's a little shelf wear to the corners, but all in all, it's a credit to cheap paperbacks from Cleveland.

Cover copy: Arthur Bittner was a seaman, landlocked in a large mid…western city. He had peculiar urges. urges that seek sexual satisfaction and Arthur Bittner started searching for something to put down the strange impulses of desire. But this was, in the words of a local bookseller, ". a tight town; no hot books here." And so the vicarious means to settle the blood lust cursing through Bittner's body were unavailable. And once the sickness had taken hold, nothing could act as an antidote to the sex-crazed, poisoned mind. As Claudia Karl left Riverside Hospital after her night tour of duty, she would have sworn there was someone following her along the familiar streets to her home. But she dismissed the thought from her mind as she spotted the lighted windows of her destination; a converted townhouse that was shared by her and six other student nurses from the hospital. To-night, she knew, that all the girls would be home. doing their hair, talking girl-talk and acting like youthful females. As she climbed the stairs, again she had the feeling that she was being watched. First paragraph(s): The city's street lights had been on for two hours when Claudia Karl left Riverside Hospital by a side exit, then turned east to walk the seven blocks to her residence, a townhouse that she shared with six other student nurses. The night was warm. It was early summer. And the area reacted to the people who lived and worked and moved within it. Arthur Bittner, for the third night in a row, stood across from the hospital looking at the checkerboard of lighted and darkened windows. For the third night in a row he had assumed this post. For the third straight night he had come this close to the entrance and the admissions desk and the psychiatric ward that teased him to enter and seek cure. And for the third night in a row, Arthur Bittner rejected the hospital and the help it offered. For the third night in a row he waited until Claudia Karl was a half-block away, then turned and followed her. Paperback Original. Size: 4.25" x 6.75". 158 pages. Text unmarked.
