The author was the Rush Limbaugh of the 1930s and 40s. He was brash, opinionated, and gave the American public the interpretation of American and world affairs most wanted to hear. An isolationist, he was at odds with Franklin Roosevelt over New Deal politics and was full of conspiracy theories and going after crooked politicians with proof or without. He died in 1944 at age 41 from a stroke. This book is a compilation of his thought-provoking speeches that analyzed the events of the day and of the world. A clean presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
