Softcover. Condition: Very Good-. First Edition. Leonard Case (1931-2016) was a Benzie County resident (and owner of the Cherry Hut) whose column, The Crystal Gazer, was published by the Benzie County Record for over twenty years. This compilation of his columns relate primarily to the history and personalities of Benzie County, Michigan and was published posthumously by the local historical society. His avid interest in history is evident in his columns. This is aclean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings, no previous owner names and no bookplates. The covers are creased at the upper and lower corners and the pages are also lightly crimped at the bottom corner (probably from improper storage). There are a handful of small illustrations in the book. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 243 pages.
