This is a Civil War-era holiday music sheet, "GLAD TIDINGS - A Christmas Carol" - Words and Music by Casonella. 1866; General Protestant Episcopal Sunday School, Union and Church Book Society; New York. Printed on a single sheet, double-sided. The carol centers around the birth of Jesus Christ on Christmas Day. When folded, the sheet measures 9 3/4" tall x 6" wide. Condition: Both sides of the sheet are clean with only "1866" written in old pencil handwriting at the top of the front page. Light crinkling to the paper along the top and bottom edges of the sheet. Light crease at the upper-inner corner when folded. Overall in Very Good condition.
