Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hello. Welcome to our small, family-owned bookstore. First published in 1911, this edition 1932. Written by Vivian Caulfield, published by Nisbet and Co. (London). Hardback (green with white lettering) with jacket (orange with black lettering and figure of a skier) 5" x 7 3/4" x 1 3/8". Very Good condition but with age-wear. The jacket has a 3 1/4" tear extending from the lower right toward the middle. There are some water spots. There are some chips on the spine panel crown and base. The color of the inner flaps reveals that the outer surfaces of the jacket have darkened over time. The book itself has fading along the top and bottom edges of the covers and the spine. Otherwise, very slight sign of wear. The pages are yellowed, but this may be the original color. Several photographs on photographic paper show positions and stances. Also, several drawings illustrate equipment and methods of maneuvering. In several parts, the binding is so tight as to suggest that those pages have not been opened for reading. Throughout, the binding is tight. 286 pages. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box. Tracking number provided for no extra cost. Thanks for checking out this book from our small town brick-and-mortar and supporting a small business.
