Letter dated 1975.Edric Cecil Mornington Roberts 1892 - 1976 was an English journalist, poet, dramatist and novelist. He was born and grew up in Nottingham. A very long letter mainly dealing with Nottingham library acquiring books and a reading room from him that brought on a heart attack, his old school being pulled down and an attached on the political parties of the time. 'lamenting the way in which he has been treated by officials and librarians in Nottingham and suggesting that England in general is now a Communist country ruled by trades union leaders, 'Wilson is a cypher and the House of Commons is held in general contempt.
