First Edition. Original revised final shooting script with color rewrite pages for the William Wellman film Buffalo Bill, written by AEneas MacKenzie, Clements Ripley, and Cecile Kramer, directed by William Wellman, starring Joel McCrae as Buffalo Bill, with Maureen OÕHara, Linda Darnell, Thomas Mitchell, Edgar Buchanan, and Anthony Quinn. Bradbound in printed studio covers, dated July 19, 1943, 121 pages with 21 additional pages of added scenes and retakes dated 10/15/43 stapled to the rear cover. Near fine copy with some minor handling. The film was released in the U.S. in April, 1944 and tells the story of William "Buffalo Bill" Cody, legendary westerner, from his days as an army scout to his later activities as owner of a Wild West show.
