Spine and boards also a little grubby with a few small stains and marks. Greyed top and foredge. Mild foxing to endpapers otherwise contents are generally good and unmarked.

Chr.; um 50) war einer der wichtigsten Medizinschriftsteller seiner Zeit. Er war der erste, der zahlreiche medizinische Ausdrücke aus dem Griechischen ins Lateinische übersetzte. Celsus galt neben Galen als einer der wichtigsten Quellen für medizinische Erkenntnisse im Mittelalter.
