Hard Back. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dust Jacket As Issued. . (illustrator). First Edition. 352 Pages. Beautiful condition. Not a single mark or other defect noted. This issue, 1975, still carried the title Swastika, a tradition that began in 1907. Since 1939 and the era of Nazi Germany the name was a recurring source of controversy but it wasn't until 1984 that the name was dropped and at long last the controversy was laid to rest. There are hundreds of photographs of people and activities throughout with many in color. Names abound with the usual headshots of students for each of the four class years. Editor Juanita M. Scott notes that this and the years to come, was a year of change and growth for NMSU. The issues that surfaced were important ones and they will have their impact on NMSU's coming of age. This coming of age is what the 1975 Swastika is about. It is hoped that this yearbook has captured the feelings of the people who make up NMSU. But most of, that it provides you with real and vivid memories of NMSU.
