Magazine/Periodical. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Three different magazines of Motor Boating, all of which are complete with no pages cut or torn out. The conditions vary but all three came from the same source and show various degrees of handling wear: the March 1939 edition has dampstains on the front cover near the spine which slowly decreases in size on the inside and ends around page 17. The inside of the rear cover of this issue contains an advertisement with a Dr. Seuss illustration. The February 1941 edition grades slightly better than the 1939 one. There is a small dampstain on the rear cover at the lower outside corner, which also extends in several pages. The exterior also shows scuffing and soiling, along with edge corner bumps and creases (all three copies actually show this along with some spine roll/curl). This copy also has a divot on the rear cover just below the boat and also goes in a number of pages as it slowly decreases in size. The third magazine, November 1941 has a nice cover and grades closer to VG. The exterior shows wear mostly near the spine along with some creasing. All three magazines have been placed in protective mylar bags after the photos were taken for this listing.…

So much was swept away by the fury and destruction that was Hurricane Andrew. But Hurricane Andrew could not - can not - destroy the spirit of our community .
