Born 26 April 1885 - Died in 1974. He studied for 6 years at the Royal College of Music and became Principal Cello in the Beecham Opera C…ompany, then leading cello in the Queen's Hall Orchestra. He resigned that post to devote himself to the London String Quartet (1908-1934). Size is 150mm x 115mm. Condition is good. Light folding crease. More images can be taken upon request. Ref 18815.
