Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 476pp, undated but has a price of 2/6d on front board, no dust wrapper, decorative boards, not price clipped, no inscriptions. Boards are only lightly soiled and are in good order although edges of spine are somewhat rubbed and there is loss to covering on the spine, hinges are becoming slightly loose, boards are now protected in a removable clear sleeve which should be effective in preventing further deterioration. Text is clean, there are no loose pages, Heavy book which will attract additional postage outside the UK.

Also known as A History of Newcastle, [1895 2nd edn.] then in 1930 as A History of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne [3rd edn]. Walter Scott publishing issued the First Edition in 1885.
