Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Thick quarto in olive green cloth with spine decorated and lettered in gilt. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Title page printed in red and black and with a frontispiece portrait engraving of Charlotte Bronte with captioned tissue guard. 378 pp. A title in the Thornton Edition of Novels ofthe Sisters Bronte. Very good, touch of darkening to the spine strip and narrow darkened stripe and a small nick/scuff to the head of the spine.
