First American Edition. 248 pp, b/w illustrations, the book is x-library with minimal markings, the pages are tight and have occasional light soil, one of the plates has a tear mended on the verso with scotch tape, the fropnt endpaper has a library bookplate, the library name is embossed on the title page, the rear free endpapewr has title and library numbers inked on the top and the edge of the date due slip is left, the covers are tight and have light soil and wear, the bottom of the spine has the shelf number in white, this a solid and usable book.
