Original publisher's light beige-brown paper wrappers with decorative blue illustration and maroon lettering on front. 6 1/2" x 9 3/4." Twenty-seven pages, complete. Two black-and-white plates of prairie scenes, complete. Printed by the Alpine Press, Inc. of Boston. Pages and covers are very clean and intact overall. Binding is tight. Pages and covers are age-toned. Covers have slight wrinkling, a tiny dampstain in bottom margin on front, and a few tiny chips at corners and head and tail of spine. A Very Good copy. Part of a series, "The Stratford Poets" and "The Stratford Booklets." A poem about a Midwestern farming family who face an unrelenting blizzard on the prairie.

Very good with typical wear to the yapped edges, sunning at the spine and water-stained wrapper with some offsetting to the top of the both flyleaves. Inscribed by the author: "To Mr. George Doran from Christy Cunningham, Eleven-Fifty Fifth Avenue, New York." Additionally, laid in is a typescript of the poem "Mother" that is Signed by Cunningham.
