Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (SD). Published in June, 1939. A Very rare non-library First Edition. ' Including an Analysis of Location, Importance And Development Of The Industry.' You can see the covers of the book in the photos. They have some mild handling soiling. The gilt lettering on the spine has lost its luster but is still legible. The corners and edges are in very good shape. There is a small crease above the rear bottom corner. The spine has some darkening at the bottom edge. Importantly, the book is square and very solidly bound from cover to cover. I don't see any cracks or spaces anywhere, the pages are nicely tight. They're also quite clean. In scrolling through, I'm not running into any instances of soiling or staining. And I'm not seeing any conspicuous creasing. There are a great many Tables, a couple of them are fold-outs. They are in excellent condition. There are also good many Charts, as well as nine Maps. The Appendix runs from page 335 two 357. It is followed by a four-page Bibliography. Concluding, I didn't see any markings in the book. There are no attachments. This is NOT an ex-library book. The previous owner penned his name and the year 1939 at the top of the title page. There is no other writing of any kind to be found anywhere else in the book.
