Text Latin.Cornelius Chyzer (1836-1909) was a medical doctor with an interest in natural history and was a member of many important Hungarian medical and scientific organisations. He acted as an advisor to the Ministry of Health in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Wladyslaw Kulczynski (1854-1919) was Professor of Zoology at the University of Cracow, and member of the Academy of Science of Cracow. He was one of the great arachnologists of his time.
