Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Three original problems (4 1/2" x 6") sheets, in Ladislav Cimburek's hand with solution on verso, sent to Tidskrift för Schack and published as numbers 4365, 4441 and 4451 in 1910. Ladislav Cimburek, of Riscany, Bohemia, was a provincial court counsellor. He was a Czech, born in Stra…konia in 1867 and studied law in Prague. His problems are remarkable for elegance of style and for the small number of pieces used in their construction. He took many prizes in international problems tourneys and published through out the chess world. Condition: Corners creased, some chips and tears to edges, fold crease at center else about very good.
