Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. "Richard Maxwell's Favorite Hymns You Love" was issued as a complimentary advertising campaign by the Serutan and Nutrex Company in 1946. Richard Maxwell (B. 1898) was a well-known tenor and hymnologist. He wrote or edited several books devoted to church hymns. While these hymns come form that old time religious tradition, they all seem to be easy and neighborly, rather than traditional, and - they are definitely not Hell-Fire and Brimstone! The following hymns are in this book : ** This is My Creed ** Little By Little ** Let's Go To Church Next Sunday ** Keep On Keeping On ** Don't Trouble Trouble ** Jesus Knows ** Are You Groping For the Answer ** Counting Song ** Thank You Lord ** It's So Easy To Smile ** Rise Up Singing ** I'll Be Waiting ** The Two Mothers (Poem) TITLE : Richard Maxwell's Favorite Hymns You Love EDITOR : Richard Maxwell IMPRINT : The Serutan and Nutrex Company PLACE : New York DATE : 1946 EDITION : First Edition STATUS : OP DETAILS : Slim, Promotional Paperback; 16 pages, contains printed music with words; 6" x 9", decorated wraps, stapled (2 staples) CONDITION -- VERY GOOD -- This is a previously owned book that remains clean and attractive, the following particulars noted : EXTERIOR : A soft bump to the foot of the spine fold has created a shallow crease; near-negligible bumps to fore-edge corner tips; surface rub is modest and the whole displays nicely. Paperback. Condition: Very Good. "Where We Are Now" makes the complex world easy to understand. It uses cleverly conceived graphics to explain the facts behind today's big issues. But it doesn't just provide information; it takes all the facts and figures, analyses them, spots the trends hiding beneath the surface and presents them in an easily-understandable, new and highly-illustrated way. And because it is interested in trends, it explains not just how the world works today, but also how things might work tomorrow. It is the answer-laden antidote to a data-filled world. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
