Gutter cracked and stretched at title page, volume still tight otherwise internally, neat and clean.

Clason compiled and arranged a number of technical dictionaries during his long and productive career. A handy reference for nuclear scientists and engineers, this work covers such fields as physics, nuclear physics, nuclear chemistry, isotopy, metallurgy, chemical technology and biology, as well as ionizing radiation. This is an early multi-language nuclear technical dictionary. A large number of terms from physics, nuclear physics, nuclear chemistry, isotopy, metallurgy, chemical termnology, biology and other disciplines. It was part of Elsevier's series of technical reference works. Among the works used as a basis for this compilation were those of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
