A German translation of "Series Sanctorum et beatorum ac illustrium virorum Sacri Ordinis Cisterciensis", a work detailing the lives of saints and other notable figures of the Cistercian Order. Written by Claude Chamelot (d. 1667), a Cistercian abbot, historiographer and hagiographer; translated by Nivardus Henrici (d. 1703), a German Cistercian monk.
