Couverture effrangée et fendillée sur les côtés du dos, intérieur impeccable, sinon bel exemplaire d'un ouvrage peu fréquent. Érudit en lyonnaiseries tout azimut, Claudius Roux (1872-1961) était à l'image de ces notables lyonnais de jadis ayant pour vocation d'en savoir toujours davantage. Doté d'une fibre gaillarde qui le conduisit à écrire en 1928, avec la collaboration de l'humoriste NoréBrunel, un livre précieux, tiré à 620 exemplaires numérotés. Un ouvrage rare, conforme à l'esprit de discrétion d'un certain milieu social lyonnais, d'autant qu'il avait ce titre alléchant : "La vie galante à Lyon au bon vieux temps". Tout un programme, mais fort nuancé. L'érotisme y est, en effet, enveloppé de soie, et l'on ne s'y évade guère de l'histoire ni de la plaisante anecdote.…
