Condition: Very Good. Original b/w film still photograph of blonde Cleo Moore in dire straits. Another Haas-Moore gem, film noir about a suicidal waitress (Moore) who meets a death row inmate in a foreign country. Queen of the B-movies in noir since 1950, her 6th with Haas, and later came "Over-Exposed" (1956). 8 x 10 inches, small white border.

A typically inventive and distinctive B-noir from noted director Hugo Haas, about a waterfront restaurant waitress who steals $25,000 from her thug boss and subsequently takes a thorough series of lessons in the heartache that ill-gained wealth can bring. 8 pages, saddle stapled and folded once, 11 x 14 inches. Very Good plus, with a couple of short creases and one small chip, light rubbing.

Original Pressbook for the 1956 film noir. Generally recognized as the "Queen of the B-Movie Film Noir," Cleo Moore plays Lila, a sexy nightclub girl who gets arrested on her first night working in a clipjoint. Lila manages to pursue a career in photography, often catching the highest class at their lowest points. Moore would go on to make a few more films before quitting the industry early in 1957. Recently released from the Columbia vaults in the collection "Bad Girls of Film Noir, Vol. 2." 12 pages, saddle stapled, 12 x 15 3/4 inches. Very Good plus or better, with minor stressing to the fold and light wear to the spine.

Original oversize double-weight full-color publicity photo of actress Cleo Moore in black lace dress kneeling on pink bed with lavender background, looking nonplussed but alluring. A promotional image given for use by press agencies and to promote her starring role in "Over-Exposed" (1956). Mimeo snipes affixed to the verso, one crediting photographer Coburn, publicist Helen Steadman, and studio blurb "with a stop-traffic figure, blonde hair and the role of her career". Moore's been hailed as the queen of B-movies, bleached her hair to compete with Marilyn Monroe, and in the 1950s starred in key films noir, including several directed by Hugo Haas. 13 x 16 inches. Near Fine, with a few light creases, faint foxing, and paperclip ghosts.
