First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Henry Muheim (illustrator). 1st Edition. This offering is a vintage book in a Saafield Publishing classic series . . . particularly for collectors. What you will be looking at is a book in a Little Big Book STYLE publication put out by Saalfield. They were not as big of a publisher as Whitman so they didn't publish as many . . . which means they're a lot more scarce. This offering is a copy of The Crimson Cloak - A Circle J Story (book number 1161) was written by Cleve Endicott - illustrated with black-and white drawings by Henry Muheim and was published by The Saalfield Publishing Company in 1939. It appears to be a First Edition First Printing book in their series though it's not specifically stated as such. It is 3 1/2" by 4 1/2" and has 395 pages with "hard cover" boards and black-and-white illustrations throughout. It is in very good + condition . . . despite all of the years that it's been in existence. Thank you!!
