There is light browning on the edges of the front end paper. There are 12 of 12 full-page black & white plates, all clean & unmarked. The dust jacket has small chips off the spine tips & cover corners, with very light wear along the edges & a 1 cm X 3 cm hole in the bottom of the back cover.

It contains 12 beautiful tipped in plates of Cobb's dry point pictures of dogs. Pages are clean and binding is tight. Cobb's exquisite monochrome drypoints are often removed from copies of this book; I am pleased to say that all 12 are present. This was never a library book.
