La carta, incisa da Guglielmo Silvestri, misura cm 119x174, 4 fogli intelati, ripiegati e conservati in astuccio dell'epoca in carta decorata con camicia; titolo manoscritto su tassello cartaceo al dorso. Dedicata a "Sua Maestą la Principessa Imperiale Maria Luigia Arciduchessa d'Austria Duchessa di Parma Piacenza e Guastalla". In basso a sinistra il grande "Quadro della popolazione e Superficie di ciascun Ducato, delle Preture e sezioni di Preture dei Porti delle Brigate dei Dragoni, delle Dogane, dei Porti e Barche". A destra la "Tabella con elenco dei torrenti che sboccano nel Po e relative caratteristiche, ed elenco con indicazione delle strade dello Stato, di Governo e Comunali principali". Nella parte inferiore si citano i ponti sul fiume Taro e del torrente Trebbia, la costruzione dei quali fu decretata da Maria Luigia. Rara carta topografica. Ottimo stato di conservazione.
