First Edition
Rubbed covers past ownership. Condition: Good-. First edition 4th printing thus. An extraordinary adventure poem. This does has a frontis of Samuel Taylor Coleridge. 48 page text followed by 12 or so pages of publisher's ads. This is an academic copy but I think the introduction is wonderful as it presents Coleridge as an enormously appealing human being with an almost mesmerizing voice and ability to seduce one with his acumen and bright ideas. The description of the friendship that became a bosom buddy duet between Wordsworth and Coleridge is also detailed to a very exciting degree. 48 pp.
