Agreement between Thomas Williams and John Clark to Collimore Chapman and William Henderson. Signed into record by John Lynn. Clear, bright writing. Some staining to pages, especially along creases and edges. A few minor tears with minimal loss. No loss to text. Pages now in clear, protective cover. The agreement states that according to a previous verbal agreement the men will exchange livestock and horses for tobacco. Collimore Chapman and William Henderson agreed to two thousand pounds of tobacco crop for two horses and twenty head of cattle. The tobacco crop would have to be delivered to Watts Branch for Thomas Williams and John Clark to be able to sell either publicly or privately by August 1, 1797.
