Nous l'avons tous lu ici… avec le plus vif intérêt []. 2° votre réfutation Durocher sur la couleur des eaux des glaciers est un véritable service que vous avez rendu à la science, j'allais vous écrire sur ce sujet lorsque j'ai reçu le n° des comptes rendus qui contient votre article. Comment un géologue aussi distingué que Mr D. peut-il observer aussi mal, c'est ainsi que l'on introduit des idées fausses dans la science []».
