Paul Colomiès (1638-1692), French Huguenot, came with Isaac Vossius to Holland. He later went to England and was librarian at Lambeth Palace. In these Opuscula… he inserted a Clavis to the letters of Scaliger, identifying a number of persons who were mystified in the original edition of 1627. He adds similar keys to the editions of the letters of Casaubon (1638) and of the letters of Salmasius (1656). He further deals with a wide range of topics and authors, i.a. Theophylactus, Iamblichus, Isocrates, and notes on Quintillianus.
