Staying with the Navy themed books, I am happy to be able to offer: United States Naval Memorial A Living Tradition, by Commander John W. Alexander, Editor. This large hard cover book (8 ¾ x 11 ¼ inches, 218 pages) was published by the United States Navy Memorial Foundation dated 1987 and the First Edition (so stated). This copy of the book is one of the Plankowner Editions from the United States Historical Society as a Sponsor s Edition. The book is bound in navy blue cloth with gilt titles on cover and spine and protected by a glossy and elaborately decorated dust jacket. The book is well illustrated featuring pictures from the Dedication Ceremony for the Memorial and also including Breathtaking color photography reflecting all facets of our Navy. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There are some very slight signs of wear to the dust jacket but this is the only flaw, wear or blemish I was able to find. The book is like new.
