Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Tight, bright 1897 first edition hardcover in quarter crimson cloth and red/black marbled paper covered boards. Black leather spine label is complete and gilt title still bright. Rebound with new endpapers, spine ends bumped, corners sharp showing color loss at periphery from storage. 194pp text is crisp, bright and well bound with a beautiful colored title page and charming B/W line drawings throughout. Text in French. A foundation work for any dressage library.
