Circa 1910. 4 unnumbered pages. 6-1/2" x 5-1/4" Handcopied recipes circa 1910 from May E. Southworth's One Hundred and One Recipes, published in 1904; the revised edition, which this manuscript references, was published in 1906. The recipes are: Abbà , Bachelor, Bouding, Brunoise, and Paupiettes. Occasional spotting/foxing, faint crease to rear leaf. VG. Tulip Laid Linen paper, white, with watermark. Text in pencil. Now housed in an archival mylar sleeve.

'The Cottage Library', 5 1/4' x 3 3/8'. light shelfwear, corners a bit bumped. gift inscription on blank leaf recto of frontispiece. binder's tape repair of hinge at same. some minor foxing at outer edges of frontispiece pages, which are of a different paper stock from the remainder of the book. most pages are still unopened at the top edge, though a few have been , not all perfectly, such that there are a few poor cuts sticking out at the top and outer edges. there are not many, and there is no missing text noted, though there are a very few spots where some of the blank paper has been lost. pages and binding are clean, straight, and tight. there are no marks to the text or other serious flaws.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. Caption title. 8pp. Disbound. Inner margin with a 1.5-inch razor cut, no loss of paper. Good. Lists the names and gives the biographies of former Confederates with seats in the 44th congress by state and district. Scarce.
